Our approach to API Privacy
API Privacy notice
Please be aware that we may update this privacy notice occasionally. The current version was last revised on 5 January 2024.
Information Collection and Usage
We collect two primary types of information:
- API Usage Data: This includes information about how you use our API, such as the number of requests, their content, and timestamps.
- User Account Information: When you create an account, we collect personal details like your name, email address, and relevant contact information.
It’s important to note that the information you provide and generate through our API is not utilised for training Finley AI models or improving our services. However, if you choose to contribute to the enhancement of our models, you can voluntarily share your data through a separate form.
We retain your API Usage Data and User Account Information for a specific duration. After this period, the data may be removed.
The security of your personal information is a top priority. We employ robust technical and organisational measures to protect it from unauthorised access, alterations, disclosure, or destruction. While we strive to maintain the highest level of security, we cannot guarantee absolute protection against all potential threats.
Disclosure of Information
We may disclose your personal information when legally required to do so or in response to valid requests from public authorities, such as courts or government agencies. We may also disclose your information to fulfil legal obligations, safeguard our rights and property, or ensure the safety of our users and the public.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except as outlined in this Policy. We may share your personal information with trusted service providers who assist us in tasks such as email communications, payment processing, or customer support.
